Community Giving
If you're looking to dispose of unwanted items in decent condition, we'll take them! We accept gently used clothing, housewares, furniture, toys, books, and other items, then redirect them to community organizations that work directly with families and individuals in need of them.
- Since the COVID-19 pandemic, many organizations stopped accepting used items, and others accept and sell them to support their organizations. While we at Mercy2 most definitely understand those charitable concepts, we still believe in the necessity and importance of used donations and the hand-to-hand method of giving.
Mercy2 receives many requests from organizations such as schools, churches, foster care systems, substance abuse recovery programs, veteran programs, pregnant and parenting women and teens, homeless programs, seniors, and more, for donatable items. We address their needs by donating items we've received from the public, then hand them directly over to the agency and/or their client in need without charge or gimmick. Such items often include, but are not limited to, beds, cribs, dishes, appliances, furniture, clothing, toys, books, and even home cleaning supplies, among many other things.
We take pride in stepping in to meet those needs with the highest level of integrity, supplying only clean, undamaged, and unstained used, donatable items to every client agency. This guarantees that what we gift to those in need is on the level we ourselves would be willing to receive, while also providing a sense of pride and self-worth to every end-user.
To donate your used or new items, please call (626) 721-3775 or email us at info@mercy2.org to schedule a pick-up or drop-off time. Your unwanted items can truly be a treasure in another person's need.
